We may be half way through the year, but I thought I would share with you some of my favorite gear for 2015.
Maui Jim Sandy Beach Sunglasses– $189
I LOVE these sunglasses. They are incredibly comfortable and flexible. The sunglasses are made with a soft frame, a rubberon nose pad which fits well and is made with a non-slip style material that isn’t annoying to wear. The sunglass frames don’t fog up while running like other brands and you forget they are on your face because they are so lightweight. Maui Jim’s make great sunglasses that you know will protect your eyes from the sun’s glare and these ones are perfect for cloudy or bright and sunny runs. I highly recommend these sunglasses to anyone who wants to try a quality brand.
Lululemon Run Top Speed Crop– $88
Reason # 1 I love these capris? The luxtreme fabric is incredibly comfortable, the smoothness makes them so sleek and lets’s be honest, it makes my butt look very nice and us women want to have butts that look fantastic in workout gear. It comes with a zippered pocket on the side to store your keys, cash, gels, small gear. The waistband covers the tummy and overall these capris didn’t chafe. These were a great addition to my running wardrobe.
Nike Dri-Fit Knit–$65-80
I love the tanks, shorts sleeves and long sleeves in this brand of running shirts. The material has super fast sweat-wicking fabric and great ventilation. The shirt is also incredibly comfortable, made with a lightweight seamless construction, it sits long on the hips and doesn’t ride up while out running. Ultimately this is one of my go to workout, running and athleisure shirts because of how comfortable it is and how good it looks while on. Plus if comes in some adorable colors.
New Balance Fresh Foam Zante– $100
If you are looking for a pair of shoes with incredible comfort, a great ride and the ultimate in cushioning, the Zantes are for you. With a 6mm heel drop and a wide footbed, these shoes provide the ultimate in comfort while logging long miles. The only downside I found was based on upon the sock I was wearing, my pinky toe would rub on the seam. Great for walking or running, I am incredibly impressed with how the cushioning holds up after miles of running.
Do you want a water bottle that will stay cold after miles of use? The Nathan Speed Draw Plus does just that thanks to its insulation. The Speed Draw Plus is a bit bigger than the Quick Shot but offers a larger zippered pocket and more space for liquids. That and it has the race cap which, of course, makes this water bottle the best option on the market. The Race Cap allows for quick action sealing to keep liquid in and easy to drink when squeezing. These are great for hot days or when marathon training and you don’t want to use a belt.
